So after the anti-social cycling furore last year the council had said it would fix the incorrect signs along the river which if taken literally mean “No No Cycling”. However while walking along the river yesterday (13th Jan 2013) I noticed the incorrect signs are still up.
We think that it’s ridiculous that cycling is not allowed. The riverside path could provide a really nice commuter route to the station avoiding Broad Street and the junction on Back Hill.
